I was very pleased with this leash. I am not a fan of gromits in leather leashes, reins, or lead lines, but it is inescapable in anything less than the most expensive leather products. However, this leash minimizes their use. There is only 1 gromet at each end, which is then reinforced by good overlap & stitching. The clasp is of good quality & so far the leash has survived one bout of chewing with only minor indents.
