Our Cardigan Welch Corgi is a rock eater. After a very expensive surgery in February to remove two rocks, the vet advised us the only possible way to keep her from eating rocks was to buy a muzzle. She is 3 years old and we were afraid this would be an impossible task. We tried a mesh muzzle but were unable to adjust it so she could not remove it after just a few minutes. There were no basket muzzles available in our area so we purchased thru Amazon. The product was nicely made. After having her wear the muzzle when we took our walks, she quickly realized she had to wear the muzzle when she went outside. When we finally made the correct adjustment to the strap, (we taped the strap in place so it would not slip) she has been unable to get the muzzle off. We can trust her in the fenced yard for a few minutes (I check about every 15 minutes) without having to go out with her.
