I thought this leash was a great idea, but poorly executed. When I received it, the worst problem was my "48 inch" leash actually measured 70", so it is way too big for my small dog. There is a secondary issue though - Perri's Leather Leash is apparently just the brand name and, together with "leash", gives the impression that this is made out of leather (the description didn't state otherwise). Not so - the leash I received was a 3' strip of leather sewn on top of one side of a 6" black nylon web leash. I though it would be funny to have "Dept of Corrections" in orange (like the jumpsuits) but the color is more of a British tan. It just looks ok, and it suffices for a cheap leash, but it wasn't what I thought I was buying. It's a shame because Perri's line of collars and leashes look really creative but the price is apparently too good to be true...Get more detail about Perri's Leather Leash with Hi-res Imaging, Department of Corrections, 4-Feet.
