This is the second retractable leash that I bought for my dog. We live in an urban area that frequently requires walking the dog, and there is a lease law. Not wanting to be in a pinch if something went wrong with the first leash(same brand) I decided to order another. This leash has the string type lead while the original was a flat ribbon lead. I prefer the string lead because the ribbon lead seems to bind more often.
