I have been using one of these leashes for over a year now, and though I have tried others, this one is simply the best. Because it is rounded rope instead of a strap, it is very easy on hands and wrists - especially if you have an enthusiastic dog, larger dog! Mine is a year and a half now and weighs about 55 pounds. He gets so excited when we set out for a walk that he tries to chew the leash and play tug-a-war with me nearly every time. He only gets away with it for a few minutes, but he can still destroy a standard strap leash or one of those expensive extendable, flexi-type leashes in short order. Despite all of his best attacks and chews, this leash is still just as strong and sound as it was on the first day I used it. Afraid I might not be able to find them again, I bought a back-up just in case he finally wears through the original.
