I have a smaller 9lbs dog. The hole around the neck is pretty tight, but the snap around the body is still pretty loose (even when i tightened it all of the way). The specs also say that this items 'is stretch' and is 'mesh'...this item is actually very very thick, and heavy, and no stretch to it.
