My husband bought the new, all tape, retractable Flexi leash last night, and this morning, first thing, our 9 month old Australian shepherd bit through it. We purchased this leash to replace our old Flexi that had served us well through several dogs, but it was getting tired and no longer retracting well. The heavy duty tape section on the old leash was not even frayed, through much chewing and biting, but the tape on these new leashes is thin and it only took one bite.
